Good viticultural management and the adaption of appropriate practices due to the early identification of the cooler season, resulted in some very good fruit. The combination of dropping crop in a naturally lower yielding season, along with an increase in leaf plucking allowed for the fruit to be harvested early and in good condition.
Made from 100% Pinot Noir, the fruit was crushed then soaked in the press for 6 hours to extract colour and flavour from the skins. The juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures to preserve the fresh aromatics and retain pure fruit expression.

Light and bright, more an orange salmon colour, flavour is crisp off dry with strong strawberry notes lingering. Much better chilled, goes well interestingly enough with blue cheese. For the price here, definitely a bargain. Arrived in 2 days too!

I found this wine to be quite different to what I usually prefer in a rose, taste wise, however it represents good value for the price. Not a wine I would order again, but that's only down to personal preference.
