Sicily's number one red grape variety, Nero d'Avola is indigenous to the island. Fedele has a wonderful structure, yet has soft tannins and is very approachable. Packed with redberry fruit flavours, it is ideal with red meat and tomato based pasta sauces.

Multi Gold Medal winning red from Portugal. It's a berry bomb and absolutely delicious.
Very aromatic with notes of ripe black and red fruits. In the palate, juicy plums and dark berry fruit flavour with plenty of fresh yet fine tannins that take over at the finish, along with flavours of spice and liquorice.

More incredible value from Spain - if you havent tried these wines do it today, you wont regret it! A classic Tempranillo (the grape of Rioja) and Cabernet Sauvignon blend. Aromas of ripe red fruits that are well defined with some oak flavours that are provided by ageing in French oak barrels.

The two Spanish wines off great value for money (I have yet to try the Portuguese and Italian wines).

A good selection. The Lab Lisboa Vinho Tinto 2017 (Portugal) and the Fedele Nero D'Avola Rosso 2018 (Italy) much more enjoyable than the 2 choices of Spanish wines but that might be a matter of taste. Great for the bbq and snob value debates.
