Description

"This is fabulous; the instantly appealing bouquet shows watermelon, rockmelon, floral and red apple characters, followed by a flavoursome palate that is both elegant and intense. The wine is brightly expressed and vibrant, finishing persistent and delightfully dry. At its best: now to 2020" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2018

"Crafted from the cinsault grape by Masters of Wine, Fergal Tynan and Giles Cooke, this is a sweetly fruited, generous rosé from the south of France that’ll definitely win friends and influence people.  Raspberry, cranberry and a hint of white peach, makes this an easy, dangerously easy Saturday afternoon sip" Yvonne Lorkin

La Vie en Rose is a beautifully elegant, easy-drinking wine with packaging to match. A lovely pink rose petal colour. A very fresh nose deliciously scented with raspberry aromas. Complex and tasty in the mouth with notes of cherry and grenadine. and a fleeting brush of subtle, spicy wood, this is a supremely balanced, savoury food-friendly wine.

Innovation is rare in the wine world, but the innovation of a new category, that of year round rosé drinking, is one of the few major changes of drinking habit that has occurred in the recent past. Capturing the global enthusiasm for all that is pink, La Vie en Rose is wonderfully evocative wine. Delicately pink, a hint of red fruits and a fleeting brush of subtle, spicy wood, this is a supremely balanced, subtly perfumed Cinsault Rosé of just 11.5% alcohol making this a dry food-friendly style of wine that will help even the most hardened of sceptics see the wine through rose tinted specs.

Grapes from the Puisserguier commune in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region of southern France are harvested from the best qualitative plots with vines averaging 25 years old. At 150m above sea level, the vines are protected from wind and receive plenty of sunshine so gapes mature slowly developing a delicate, complex aromatic profile and retain good natural acidity. Harvest is during the coolest hours of the day, early morning and the grapes are gently airbag pressed. The juice is cold settled and goes though fermentation at cool temperature for 2 weeks. The wines are then quickly cleared off their gross lees and are kept in stainless steel tanks on fine lees only until bottling, in order to keep maximum fresh fruit and freshness.

Food Pairing: Incredible with salads and chargrilled meats but a versatile wine which partners well with most seafood and meat dishes.
