This Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is elegant with fragrant ripe grapefruit and passionfruit characters and a subtle mineral note on the palate. Layers of gooseberry, rockmelon and green capsicum combine with herbaceous characters to provide an exceptional length and intensity. Grapes for this delicious Sauvignon Blanc were sourced from different sub-regions in Marlborough and then fermented in stainless steel to retain freshness and zing.

I don't profess to being a wine expert, but when I taste a wine that suits my palate, that is how I judge a wine. I find some of the wine writings are very obscure and meaningless if the wine just doesn't taste good. This W5 has never let me down and this vintage is no exception. A very nice wine that when shared with friends gets the same thumbs up that I give it. A very good wine at an excellent price.
