I must say this is a very nice bubbly! It has been said that I have champagne tastes on a beer income. This may be so, however I do have a discerning palate. Charles de Fere blanc de blanc has a more refined and fermented taste with smaller (tiny) bubbles, more reminiscent of a true champagne. Excellent value for money!

Very good value for money wine. Pours very lively with lots of bubbles, Light straw clear colour. Light lemon on the front of the palette, medium sweet with plenty of restrained tropical flavours. Nice texture and balance. Don't be fooled tho', this is not the traditional yeasty/bready flavours expected from a real French champagne.

Nothing like champagne but a delightful sparkling wine with interesting hints of honey flavour. Quality varies a bit from bottle to bottle.
