Fresh aromas of blackcurrant, passionfruit and sea salt, with a hint of green herb. An intensely flavoured palate with layers of tropical passionfruit, blackcurrant and mineral notes. The weighty palate has a long lingering finish, leaving you wanting more.
The fruit was sourced from several vineyards within Marlborough’s fertile Wairau Valley area. Each vineyard’s yield was managed carefully and fruit monitored throughout the ripening season. The grapes were harvested upon reaching the desired flavour spectrum and maturity.
2017 was a light vintage, with a small crop of intensely flavoured grapes. The grapes were machine harvested and transported promptly to the winery to be lightly pressed. The juice was lightly settled, then cool fermented with selected yeast strains in stainless steel, to retain fresh varietal flavours and aromatic intensity.

Excellent sauvignon blanc, you taste that it is a couple of years old, the usual vibrancy is less obvious instead there is some ageing, depth in the taste.
