Description

"It is delightfully fruited and fragrant on the nose showing peach, rockmelon, orange peel and nougat characters, leading to a succulent palate that is supple and smooth. The wine offers lovely fruit weight and roundness, backed by creamy texture and refreshing acidity, finishing long and tasty. A charming modern style. At its best: now to 2020" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Apr 2019

"Bright, light lemon-gold colour with a pale edge.  The nose is full with bright and lively aromas of ripe citrus fruit along with yellow stonefruits intermingling with positive and up-front spicy and nutty oak elements.  The aromatics have depth and volume, and unfold some lanolin-like nuances.  Medium-full bodied, the palate is fulsome with good depth a breadth of citrus fruit and stonefruit flavours enhanced by strong nutty and spicy oak elements.  The flavours are mouthfilling and balanced by refreshing and lively acidity, and the wine carries with good drive and energy along a fine-textured line, leading to a lingering finish of fruit and oak.  This is a mouthfilling and upfront Chardonnay with bold, citrus and stonefruit flavours alongside nutty and spicy oak, on a fulsome and refreshing palate with a fine-textured line.  Match with grilled and roasted poultry, pork and veal over the next 3 years.  Chardonnay fruit fermented to 13.5% and matured with oak contact, the wine undergoing batonnage" Raymond Chan, May 2018

"Fleshy and sweet-fruited, this very easy-drinking pays d’Oc (from the Mediterranean south of France) is bright, light yellow/green, with a fresh, slightly citrusy bouquet.   Mouthfilling and well-rounded, it has ripe, peachy, citrusy, vaguely buttery flavours, showing very good depth" Michael Cooper, June 2018

Golden yellow in the glass, with intense aromas of ripe apple, elegant bourbon vanilla and some toffee notes. Dense on the palate, wonderfully smooth and velvety, subtle spicy notes on the long finish.

Crafted from grapes selected in distinct vineyards from Debussy's best Chardonnay vines. After a short maceration, the crop was gently pressed. Both the vinification and maturing process were carried out under the influence of differently toasted French oak, revealing extraordinary flavours. After the fermentation, the fine yeast was stirred up periodically giving the wine its velvety mouthfeel.
