Pale straw in the glass, with pure aromas of crushed citrus, snow pea and ripe grapefruit. Concentrated citrus and a burst of fresh snow pea fill
the front palate. Juicy acidity gives the wine its lovely freshness and length.
The fruit for the Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from the award-winning Woolshed vineyard (in the upper Wairau Valley). Each vineyard batch is kept separate and gently pressed and cold settled. The juice is then racked and inoculated with selected yeast. A cool, closely monitored fermentation follows and once the wine has reached perfect balance its chilled and racked off yeast lees. The wines are then allowed to relax in tank before blending, fining and filtering.
