Harvested from the excellent 2016 vintage from vineyard sites planted in the Southern Valleys area of Marlborough. This is a round, full texture Pinot Noir with aromas of sun warmed dark berry fruit interlaced with toasted wood notes and a hint of dark chocolate. The palate displays fresh boysenberries with a silky texture and a long savoury finish. Fresh acidity balances the fine powdered structure complementing the fruit.
An ideal accompaniment to roast chicken, duck or spring lamb.
Drinking beautifully now and with careful cellaring will develop further over the next 5 years
