Truly, deserved of it’s Reserve title, this fresh, crisp number is bloody brilliant value for the moolah. Under it’s domestic label it’s won multiple golds, it’s got a myriad of glowing reviews and it would normally be worth loads more than what you’d transact it here for too. 100% affirmative this is Sauvignon Blanc with pedigree and it get’s the big ups approval from us.
Fruit for this reserve wine is destemmed and gently pressed, then cool fermented in stainless steel tanks to retain the pure fruit flavours. After ferment the wine was left for a period on yeast lees to develop texture and complexity.
Intensely aromatic with vibrant flavours of passionfruit, ripe tropical fruit and gooseberry. The palate is well balanced, with fine acidity delivering a lingering finish. Delicious with a variety of seafood or lightly spiced Asian cuisine.
The wine for this Export label is sourced from fruit grown across a variety of soil types in Marlborough, including clay loam and deep silt. Gravels provide tropical flavours, clay loams produce citrus notes and deep silty soils lift the aromatic quality of this wine. The best parcels of fruit are selected for this wine and harvested only when fully ripe.

I picked up the citrus flavours as per the label but otherwise found none of the usual Marlborough Sav blanc punch. Disappointing especially for a Reserve so would not buy again
