The palate is brimming with layers of delicious strawberry, cherry, and suggestions of charred wood on the finish. Drink now or save for later, this Pinot Noir will age gracefully for the next three to five years from release.
Grown in sunny Marlborough, the fruit for this fruit forward Pinot Noir was monitored vigilantly by Sneaky Bill and the viticultural team all season long.
Harvested by machine when the grapes had reached their optimum flavour profile. The fruit was held cold soaked to extract colour from the skins before going to a warm fermentation in stainless-steel vessels. At this time, the juice was plunged by hand up to eight times daily. The wine underwent a second malolactic fermentation before aging gracefully in barrel.
