Description

  • French oak
  • Sweet cherry & plum
  • Almond & thyme
  • Silky smooth

"This is immediately appealing on the nose with sweet cherry, floral, clove, almond and dried mushroom aromas. The palate is equally attractive with supple texture and juicy fruit flavours, finishing long and silky. Harmonious and soothing, making it delightfully drinkable. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2023

"An unmistakable bouquet of Central Otago with aromas of black cherry and plum, there’s a savoury thyme and mineral quality then scents of oak,  crumbled rocks, fresh air and roses. A lighter weighted wine touches the palate then a burst of red berry fruit and spice flavours with a savoury edge. Polished tannins and a youthful acid line all add up to a delicious dry wine centering on variety and finish. Best drinking from late 2024 through 2028+. Excellent value, a wine that punches well above its weight and price" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Oct 2023

"Moderately deep ruby-red, even colour throughout. This has a rich bouquet packed with black fruit, thyme and spice. Medium-full bodied, aromas of black cherry and plum melded with thyme, clove and pepper. A ripe tannin grip framed the black fruit and spice; juicy acidity lends a sustained finish" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Oct 2023

This Pinot Noir has a deep ruby hue colour and offers a complex aroma of dark forest fruits, wild thyme and subtle smoke. The palate has flavours of vibrant blackberries and cherries. With a glossy mouthfeel, delicate acidity and plush tannins.
