"Aromas and flavours of fresh and preserved plums, a mix of blackberry fruits then clay and mineralised soil qualities. There’s also a mix of red flowers and peppery spices. Dry with medium+ body/weight, acidity and tannins deliver just the right level of structure and mouthfeel for the fruit and spice flavour qualities. Balanced and well made, ready to drink and an easy option for food pairing. Best drinking from 2024 through 2028+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Mar 2023

Our Héritages range of wines are a product of Ogier's hundred-year-old expertise and the finest of the Côtes du Rhône terroirs. Deep cherry red colour. Bouquet of ripe red fruits, with notes of leather and sweet spices. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied, with fresh aromas - the tannins are elegant, silky and attractive with a long finish on vanilla notes.

Traditional vinification with 3 to 4 weeks of vatting. Maturation Details Aged for 6 to 10 months in concrete vats.

Founded in 1859, in the centre of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Maison Ogier's aim today is quite simply to grow the best grapes and make the best wines possible: a commitment to quality and to the region and its heritage.Ogier's expertise has grown over 150 years, during which time it has brought back into use traditional forms of cask that had fallen into disuse and introduced new ones. Thanks to its understanding of the complexity of Northern and Southern Rhône Valley terroirs, Ogier adapts its aging methods to each individual wine, allowing the purity of its fruit and its intrinsic character to shine through.Clos de l’Oratoire des Papes A.O.C Châteauneuf-duPape: With its distinctive label, unchanged since it was designed in 1928, and undisputed quality, it is recognised by wine writers and wine lovers from all over the world.
