"Brightly fruited and inviting with Black Doris plum, cherry, olive and floral aromas, it's juicy and supple in the mouth delivering pristine fruit flavours together with plump mouthfeel and silky texture. Medium bodied and splendidly tasty. At its best: now to 2025" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, May 2022
"Complex and enticing bouquet with a mix of aromas from stony soils to plum and cherry, granite and baking spices. Moderately weighted, dry and textured on the palate with an abundance of firm-ish tannins then red fruit flavours biting first. A floral, nut and leesy quality adds complexity add charm, depth of flavour as well as texture and length. Well made and ready to drink from 2022 through 2028+. Great as an accpaniment to food including cheese" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, May 2022

Aromas of red fruits and blackcurrant, with just a whiff of oak aging on the nose. Soft and gently mouth-filling on the palate with well integrated tannins that support the ripe red plump fruit. Unfussy with touches of cedar giving spice and a cooling freshly picked mint aspect that lifts the finish. Lovely balanced Bordeaux from a great vintage.

1 x Villa Blanche Syrah 2021 (France)
AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Syrah du Monde
"What a glorious Syrah this 2021 vintage has produced! It is an intense purple red, with a superbly balanced nose of wild strawberries, blackberries, and laurel, followed by peppermint and fresh coconut. The tannins are supple, melting, and smooth, underpinning the fullness and length of the palate. As in previous years we find the characteristic notes of blackcurrant and blackberry with a finish on notes of cinnamon, lemon verbena and vanilla. Pure sunshine in a bottle, this Syrah nevertheless possesses a tangible freshness typical of northern terroirs. It is one of the best loved wines in our Villa Blanche range" Winemaker

1 x Tribu Montahut Syrah 2021 (France)
"An intensely coloured wine in hues of violet. The 2021 vintage has a powerful nose with strawberry, blackberry and fig, but also notes of cocoa that spill over into spice, truffle and a toasted finish. Full-bodied and deliciously mouth filling, this superb wine bursting with blackcurrant, blackberry, and vanilla, with majestic tannins and finely balanced power, is the sunshine of the south in a bottle" Winemaker

1 x Calmel & Joseph Faugères 'Le Gaillard' 2019 (France)
AWARDED 91/100 POINTS: La Revue du Vin de France
AWARDED 91/100 POINTS: Wine Align
AWARDED 90/100 POINTS: Robert Parker's - The Wine Advocate
"Bright, gleaming cherry red. Spices, garrigue, smoked meat and red berry fruit intermingle on the nose. The palate opens with superb freshness with fine, velvety tannins, followed by mentholated aromas, blackberry, cherry, black olive tapenade and smoked wood. Lovely minerality on the finish. The 2019 vintage is true to the atypical and highly individual profile of this wine, and once again we have a magnificent harvest. Great ageing potential in perspective. We've got a new label for our Faugères, and how could we call this big, strapping guy anything but "Le gaillard"?" Winemakers notes
A classic Southern French blend of Syrah 50%, Grenache 30% & Carignan 20%. Certified Organic.

1 x Villa Blanche 'Les cepages anciens' Piquepoul Noir 2021 (France)
Awarded 16/20 Points: Janics Robinson
Astonishingly good and as rare as hen's teeth. At the end of the last century there was thought to be only 200 hectares left globally. And that's despite the fact this is one of the 18 varieties allowed to be used in Chateauneuf-du-Pape!
"Laurent Calmel and Jerome Joseph continue their quest to bring the great and unique grapes of Languedoc-Roussillon to a wider audience with this silken, black fruit-laden and spice-edged wonder. Dark, ruby colour, the nose is fresh with aromas of ripe red cherry and berry fruit along with notes of dark raspberries, and an blend of spices, florals and liquorice. Medium-bodied, the palate has soft and gently rich character, vibrant fruit flavours of red cherries and berries with savoury spice, herb and floral touches. This is really lovely & glugable , the fruit is sweet and juicy, and is underlined by balancing fresh acidity. A great alternative to the 'heavier' wines of the region, this is all about elegance and balance. You could say it is 'light on its feet'!"
