Description

  • Off-dry style
  • Green apple
  • Lime zest
  • Subtle sweetness

"It's fabulously expressed on the nose with lemon sorbet, apricot, green tea and white floral aromas. The palate displays excellent focus and poise combined with fine texture and subtle sweetness, finishing refreshing and persistent. Brightly fruited and deliciously appealing. Style: Medium-dry. At its best: now to 2030" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2023

Fresh and lively flavours of green apple and lime zest bounce off the tongue. The palate exudes bright citrus characters with an underlying minerality and acid drive. An off dry mouthfeel is attractively supported by subtle sweetness and bright acidity.

These grapes were harvested predominantly from select vineyards sites in Marlborough’s Awatere at the peak of flavour development in the cool of the evening. After fermentation the parcels of fruit were carefully blended together and prepared for bottling.

Food Pairing: A lovely aperitif wine or well matched with a Thai beef salad or spicy noodles.

Took a gamble on a Riesling hoping it wouldn't be too sweet. Pleasantly surprised, and enjoyed its dry, crisp quality and found it easy to drink.
