1 x Fortant Grand Terroirs Minervois La Liviniere 2018 (France)

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL & 95/100 POINTS: Decanter World Wine Awards 2018

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL & 97/100 POINTS: International Wine & Spirit Competition 2020

"Elegant and savoury Syrah forward more Northern Rhone-style nose with black plum, a hint of liquorice and a beautiful long finish. A delicious wine with a serious profile and intensity that lingers. Delicious and very serious" International Wine & Spirit Competition 2020

A lovely blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache from the sun kissed region of Minervois in the western Languedoc in France.  Very serious wine, and a reminder that France can still be regarded as the epicentre of the wine world.

Alc: 13.5%

1 x Dames de Bonpas Côtes du Rhône Village Plan de Dieu 2017 (France)

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL & 95/100 POINTS: Decanter World Wine Awards 2018

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Gilbert & Gaillard 2018

For rich, ripe, mouthfilling Rhône Villages that’s well priced, head for the Plan de Dieu vineyards in the south. The area is strewn with the same pebbles that you’ll find in Châteauneuf du Pape and that help achieve super ripeness by absorbing heat in daytime and radiating it at night. Resulting in some of the most attractive, warm fruited (and affordable) wines you’re likely to find anywhere. The Dames de Bonpas certainly make the most of its location with this luscious, Gold medal red and its waves of ripe, velvety fruit and smoky complexity

Alc: 14%

1 x Chateau Bourdieu Bordeaux No.1 2019 (France)

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL & 95/100 POINTS: Decanter World Wine Awards 2020

"Pristine definition of pure and driving damson, cherry and plum, with understated vanilla oak. Deep and long, the palate reveals a cascade of fleshy black fruits over ripe, fine-grained tannins and fruit-bonded acidity. Lovely stuff" Decanter World Wine Awards 2020

Chateau Bourdieu dates back to 1464. Located on Bordeaux’ Right Bank in the Cotes de Blaye region. The estates vineyards have a mixture of clay, limestone and gravel soils. Ideal for Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate covers 180 acres and the vines average a mature 35 years of age.

Alc: 14%

1 x Maison Bouachon Côtes du Rhône Les Rabassières 2017 (France)

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Gilbert & Gaillard 2018

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL & 95/100 POINTS: Decanter World Wine Awards 2018

This luscious red perfectly captures the ripeness, depth and sheer drinkability of the best Côtes du Rhônes. Made from the usual suspects from this part of France - Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and Cinsault. This beauty has rich, ripe flavours of spiced blackberry, raspberry and redcurrant. Lovely, long, smooth and silky on the palate but with plenty of structure making it feel more serious than the price tag suggests.

Alc: 13.5%

2 x Fortant Terroir D'Altitude Pays d'Oc Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 (France)

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL & 95/100 POINTS: Decanter World Wine Awards 2018

"Gorgeously expressive dark menthol, blackberry jam and bay leaf characters, full of vibrant charm and juicy energy, rich tannins and a long, fruitful finish. Fabulous value!" Decanter World Wine Awards 2018

Bordeaux may hold the crown for best Cabernet Sauvignon in France but don’t underestimate the potential of the Languedoc’s top vineyards and ambitious winemakers like the Fortant team. This is a dense, luscious red, packed with cassis and toasty spice.

Alc: 13.5%
