Deep red ruby colour. Intense bouquet of black cherry and hints of balsamic notes. Flavours of blackberry, cherries and ripe fruits with a very interesting structure due to the well balanced, soft tannins and acidity.
Mediterranean climate with significant diversity all year around along the mountain areas where there is a fresh temperated climate and the costal areas where there is a warm temperate climate. Italy is a peninsula that hosts the highest mountain in Europe (Monte Bianco) and the highest volcano (Etna).
The blend of red grapes are harvested, destemmed and vinified with 15 days of maceration in order to extract colour and structure. The fermentations, alcoholic and malolactic, happen in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature 25-27ºC.
Food Pairing: It matches well with mature hard cheeses roasted pork beef steaks and all game dishes.

manipulated-seeming, but aiming for effects I like - dark cherry, slightly spiced... has integrity for a non-varietal, non-vintage wine, so value at the price point
