"From the Languedoc in southern France. Attractive dry rosé with Turkish Delight, rose petal, raspberry and spice flavours. A stylish wine in a stylish package that offers value at this price" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Apr 2021

Lovely salmon pink in the glass. The nose displays delicious aromas of fresh red fruits followed by floral notes, and a hint of wild herbs. The juicy and fresh first impression is balanced by a creamy mouth-watering length.

Produced under the supervision of renowned oenologist Xavier Roger. Les Peyrautins combines modern techniques to compliment the best of traditional French wine regions. The result is a perfect combination of the New and Old world.

This premium Rosé is originated in heart of Languedoc Roussillon where Grenache grapes benefit from the typical Mediterranean climate: South facing slopes, warm and dry weather, gravelly terroirs. The fresh breezes and morning mists from the hills to the north allows the grapes to mature slowly, with high variations in temperature from day to night. The resulting rosé is vibrant, crisp and balanced, with intense and expressive aromas.

The grapes are harvested at night when the temperature is cool in order to prevent oxidation and preserve freshness in the wine. In the cellar, they are immediately and carefully pressed at 7-8°C to avoid oxidation. The must is clarified. Only the best juices are selected to ferment in stainless steel tanks, at low temperature to preserve the delicate fruit aromas. Finally, the wine is drawn from the tanks to age on its fine lees for 4 months, with regular “bâtonnage”.

Food Pairing: Enjoy this wine chilled, as an aperitif or with various cold cuts, lobster rolls and goat cheese salad
