1 x Cave de Roquebrun 'Roches Noires' St Chinian 2015

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Vinalies Internationales
AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Concours des Feminalise
AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Gilbert et Gaillard
AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Concours General Agricole Paris

A blend of 60% Syrah, 20% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre this is an elegant racy red. Characterised by beautiful harmony with aromas of forest fruits, red berries and luscious Syrah flavours on the palate. A long complex finish soft and juicy with just enough structure to make this a very serious wine for the money. No wonder it's won so many accolades!

If you like the fruity, spicy reds of the Languedoc, the Cave de Roquebrun 'Roches Noires' delivers in spades. Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre unleash a Bacchanalian orgy of flavour thanks to a fruit forward style of winemaking. They are crafted by Alain Rogier, 2015 the IWC Winemaker of the Year, at the Cave de Roquebrun, which ranks among the finest wineries in Southern France.

1 x Domaine Thunevin Calvet Côtes du Roussillon Villages 'l'Amourette' 2015

Awarded 91-93/100: Robert Parker's, The Wine Advocate

"A blend of 60% Mourvèdre and 40% Grenache, the 2015 Côtes du Roussillon Villages l'Amourette sports an inky purple color as well as rocking notes of black raspberries, plums, crushed rock and pepper. Rich, concentrated and rounded, with a great texture, I suspect it might shut down shortly after bottling, so either try it right on release or give it 2-4 years." Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate

The Thunevin-Calvet Estate emerged in 2001, from a meeting between Jean-Luc Thunevin, owner of the Château Valandraud in St Emilion and Jean-Roger Calvet, a young winemaker from the lands of Maury. At first Jean-Luc Thunevin buys a few hectares, which he combined together with the vines of Jean-Roger resulting in the first vintage, which was vinified in a garage located in a village lane. Gradually, the property grew and today it has 60 hectares all of which are now all in production. The vines are not treated with any pesticide or fertilizers.
