"Mellow, smooth-textured Pinot with nicely integrated cherry, plum, dried herb, thyme, anise, and spicy oak flavours. Supple, elegant wine with power delivered with consummate subtlety. When I first tasted it I thought “that’s good”, then “that’s very good” and then “that’s terrific”. It seduced me gradually" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Mar 2023

This ruby red wine has complex aromatics and flavours showing dark cherry and plum notes with hints of earthy, spicy, savoury notes. The wine’s broad, mouth-filling weight and richness unfold with long, fine-grained tannins and lingering acidity with a velvety finish.

Food Pairing: We recommend serving with Roast Duck or Persian Lamb.

"The wine offers wonderful fruit purity with splendid complexity, showing Black Doris plum, blueberry, violet, clove and roasted nut aromas, leading to a concentrated palate delivering excellent depth and richness, while remaining elegant and stylish. Delectably appealing and engaging. At its best: now to 2031" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jul 2022

Deep ruby. Fragrant black cherry and rich plum fruit is subtly lifted by layers of dark red florals and complex savoury forest floor, dark chocolate, cigar box. The palate of this wine shows the concentration of the vintage. Pure flavours of ripe berry fruit and dark plum fill the pallet. This fruit is supported by powerful yet finely polished tannins giving a plush yet silky texture with seamless length.

"The highly refined 2022 vintage (5*) was grown at three sites in Bannockburn and matured for 11 months in French oak barriques (25 per cent new). Attractively perfumed, it is full-bodied, sweet-fruited and silky-textured, with strong, cherryish, gently spicy flavours, complex, savoury, very smooth and harmonious. An elegant, seamless red, highly approachable in its youth, it should be at its best 2026+" Michael Cooper, Jun 2023

A lifted and savoury nose with ripe cherry, mulberry, lilac, sandalwood, rosemary and a hint of mushroom. This is a fragrant and silky expression of the Bannockburn sub-region with lovely bramble fruit, florals and a touch of umami, with chalky, fine tannins that are intricately woven around the apt acidity. This Pinot Noir has an ethereal nature, expressing intensity and poise from great sites in a stellar sub-region. It is notably fresh and bright at release and it will certainly reward those who choose to cellar it with a wonderful journey of development for at least 10+years.
