Light in colour, this is a soft Pinot Noir with raspberry, cherry, mixed spices, and a subtle earthy note. There's real Pinot Noir character evident making it very flavoursome and moreish. Dark fruited with soft tannins.

2022 will probably be remembered as wet in most parts of Australia. However, in inland vineyards the rain did not hinder, rather it helped vines stay healthy and created favourable conditions for a modest and favourable crop across much of the country. Overall quality was up but yields were down.

Healthy and problem free fruit is selected in the vineyard and then picked in the cool of the night and then rushed to the nearby winery for a fast and focused vinification. Fermentation is cool in a closed static fermenter before a short maturation on lees and bottling
