Delivery

We hope you love your Black Market purchase. Just a heads up, our current delivery timeframe is 3-5 working days.

We work with a wide range of distributors who deliver their wines to you using individual courier companies, which can make it difficult for us to give you one tracking number for a purchase of products from multiple areas of the country. If your wine hasn’t arrived within 5 working days, however, drop us an email with your order number and we’ll respond with all the details you need.

Standard delivery costs are $5.99 per six-bottle case, and $8.00 per twelve-bottle case, with possible additional costs for orders shipped to Waiheke and Great Barrier Islands, as dictated by the supplier.

If your delivery address is outside of North and South Islands (such as Waiheke Island, Great Barrier Island), please email us at sales@blackmarket.co.nz to discuss shipping options.

Expected delivery times are currently 3-5 working days to non-rural addresses. Delivery times may however be extended during busy seasonal periods due to heavier demand. Delivery times may also be delayed due to public holidays and over the Christmas/New Year period. We do however encourage the suppliers who advertise on this site to ensure as quick delivery as possible - please contact us with any comments or complaints and we will raise these with the supplier concerned.

Due to licencing regulations, we are currently unable to offer click and collect services.

Because our products come from wineries and suppliers across the country, one product may arrive before the other. They shouldn’t be too far apart, though.

We understand that every now and again you could come across a faulty bottle, or you haven’t enjoyed your first taste. If you are wanting to initiate a return, please send us an email with the details and we’ll be happy to discuss our returns policy with you.

Becoming a member is simple, you just need to create a login using your current email address and you’re in! It costs nothing to become a member, and there is no minimum case order or spending requirement - browse and buy at your leisure.

Buying for your business, clients, a wedding or other event? We can provide a personal account manager to assist you with your purchasing, as well as wholesale pricing and information about exclusive wines not available on our standard site. Product Related

We want to ensure that any Black Market product delivered to you is of outstanding quality and value. No exceptions.

To assist with making our products as cost-efficient as possible, majority of products sold on Black Market are in case format (either 6 or 12 bottles) with a few exceptions such as magnum bottles and selected spirits options.

Because we work with more than fifty supply partners with warehouses around the country, we don't currently have the option to offer customers the ability to mix a custom case of wine/spirits.

Our Mystery Wines are simply wines we love, with the branding hidden and revealed only when it arrives at your door. This means that we can charge the lowest possible rate without issues from competitors, as well as providing a unique and exciting purchase experience for our members.

Non Vintage: A non-vintage wine is created by blending a number of wines from different vintages to create an ideal flavour profile.

Single Vineyard is a term used in the wine industry referencing that the wine in the bottle comes from a single vineyard site. Isolating a single site also means that the team can give more attention to the grapes grown on that site which results in a very high quality wine.
