A silky smooth and elegantly composed Pinot Noir showing dark plum, cherry, anise and toasted nut characters on the nose with a hint of dark mushroom. It's succulent and plump on the palate, offering youthful fruit intensity combined with silky texture and well-integrated tannins, finishing long and supple. An easy-drinking Pinot Noir offering exceptional value.

Sourced from our vineyard in the sub region of Ward Valley, southern Marlborough, blessed with deep clay loam soils and traces of limestone.

The 2023 Marlborough vintage was one to remember — an excellent season defined by a long, warm summer that delivered grapes of exceptional quality. Our Pinot Noir harvest began under clear skies and sunshine, with fruit showing perfect ripeness and balance. Once picked, the grapes were taken gently and hand-plunged in open-top fermenters to capture vibrant fruit expression and fine tannin structure. The young wine was then transferred to a mix of small tanks and seasoned French oak barrels, where it could rest and develop layers of complexity while keeping the focus on purity and elegance.
