Juicy fruit flavours with fine texture & polished tannins

Wine Orbit

Description

Cherry, Coffee, Oak

"Charming and elegant, the bouquet shows red cherry, game, mushroom and dried flower aromas, followed by a beautifully rounded palate displaying juicy fruit flavours with fine texture and polished tannins, finishing lingering and pleasingly dry. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2024

The palte is bright and fresh up front, with cocoa powder and raspberries giving it a lot of structure. Aromas of toasty oak, coffee and cherries support the palate, making this an exceptional Pinot Noir.

At the winery, the fruit was held in a cold soak for five days, extracting elegant colour and tannin from the skins. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at warm temperatures, at this time the grapes were hand plunged up to eight times daily for further extraction. The wine was racked off gross lees and into oak infused tanks where it underwent a second malolactic fermentation before being blended and bottled.

Food Pairing: A perfect match with hearty beef, this fresh and bright Pinot Noir will leave you wanting more.
