This vintage opens with an enticing bouquet of wild strawberries and delicate lychee, lifted by a subtle hint of pink peppercorn and fresh snow pea. The palate is vibrant and refreshing, showcasing juicy blood orange and exotic guava, wrapped in a silky texture. A bright line of acidity carries through to a crisp, mouth-watering finish that keeps you coming back for more.
Every year, the complexity in their Rua Pinot Rosé comes from diverse vineyard selection across two sub regions - Banockburn and Pisa. This season, their Pisa vineyards contributed most of the fruit, bringing energy and tension to the acid structure; and Bannockburn brings the spice!
Handpicked, whole bunch pressed and cold settled. Clean rack, fermented cool with Rosé yeast in stainless steel tanks. No barrel ferment in this wine in order to retain the fresh fruit characters.
