Cherry, Chocolate, Oak

Deep maroon hue with a bright youthful purple tinge. Lifted satsuma plum, raspberry, violet flower, blueberry, chocolate and a hint of creamy oak. Abundant with pretty, bright and fresh blue fruits, a rich middle palate with plum & red cherries. A long fine tannin structure throughout gives an excellent backbone to this food friendly style of Barossa Shiraz. The wine finishes fruit-driven, well supported by subtle toasty oak. 

Futures are the wines that started it all, available to friends and family on a ‘pay now and we’ll deliver in two years’ arrangement. Futures Shiraz is sourced from a small number of vineyards that produce low yielding and highly concentrated fruit. This Barossa Valley Shiraz is an eminently enjoyable wine now, but will handsomely reward with cellar maturation.
