Dry, Spice, Strawberry
"Attractively pale Rosé with delicately fruity flavours suggesting watermelon, strawberry and a hint of floral, perhaps red rose petal? A suggestion of sweetness is neatly balanced by fresh acidity to give a drying finish" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review Jan 2020
An enticing Pinot Noir Rosé full of attitude, style and extravagance, boasting vibrant berry and stonefruit flavours, savoury notes and a spicy finish. This one is juicy and fresh with charmingly balanced sweetness and crisp acidity.
Bendigo is renowned for vibrant dark fruit flavours and finely tuned acidity. Formed from glaciers grinding schist rocks to smaller gravels and finer particles, the soil is rich in minerals, free draining and perfect for growing exceptional Pinot Noir.
A magnificent warm spring and settled summer resulted in an earlier than usual harvest in Bendigo. By mid March the grapes were ready for harvest. Deep blue in colour, their elegant aromas expressed rich berry and plum. In the winery, the grapes were gently destemmed and pressed. Skin contact was left to a minimum to ensure a soft natural colour.
