Description

Cranberry, Dry, Raspberry

"Dry, crisp and tangy Rosé with delicate berry, floral/violet, vanilla and spice flavours. Appealing wine with fresh, mouth-watering flavours. It looks as good as it tastes" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Jun 2024

Strawberry, cranberry and crunchy raspberry are jubilant and excitable. They bounce off the walls with brightness and freshness. Their more serious side advocates a richer, sophisticated and slightly drier personality.

This pale and dry Rosé is made predominantly from the Merlot grape. Vineyard sites from across Hawke's Bay are specially selected for Rosé production. These sites are slightly cooler and protect the delicate fruit and floral notes in the wine.

The fruit was crushed to extract vibrant colour and flavours from the skins. The juice was then drained, clarified and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation was conducted at cooler temperatures to ensure the retention of bright fruit aromas and stopped with a small amoutn of residual sugar to provide a balanced palate.

Food Pairing: Imbibe on its own or devour along with seared salmon.
