Beautifully integrated flavours of lime zest and mandarin with subtle hints of orange blossom. The finish shows well balanced acidity with a hint of sweetness ensuring a refreshing mouth-feel. Perfect for immediate drinking, this wine will continue to evolve and reward for at least the next three years.

The Echo was a 104 foot scow, rigged as a topsail schooner, used to transport goods in the early 1900s, from Marlborough’s coastal Wairau Bar, to the town of Blenheim by the way of the Opawa river. Todays the river meanders through Marlborough’s flourishing vineyards of the lower Wairau plain.
