Wine Orbit
Description

- Toasted spice
- Red plum
- Cherries
"Bright and charming, the elegantly expressed bouquet shows ripe strawberry, cherry, floral and subtle spice aromas, followed by a succulent palate that is rounded and smooth. The wine is youthfully appealing with fresh fruit flavours, finishing long and mellow. At its best: now to 2021" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2019
The vibrant Echo Marlborough Pinot Noir has aromas of sun-warmed ripe raspberry combined with underlying hints of dried thyme. The palate is fresh and juicy, with delectable flavours of warm red plum, red cherries and toasted spice. A beautifully balanced wine with subtle oak, fine powdered structure and a long, silky finish.
Fruit from various vineyard sites in Marlborough help to create depth and expression in this wine. Selected yeast strains were used for fermentation and the wine was hand plunged frequently throughout ferment. The wine was gently pressed off skins, then underwent 100 percent malolactic fermentation before being blended and gently prepared for bottling.
Food Pairing: Matches beautifully with garlic and rosemary seasoned roast lamb.
