Made at the ‘Cuvage’ winery founded in Acqui Terme in the province of Alessandria and part of the renowned Mondo del Vino Portfolio. Acquesi interprets the ancient tradition of sparkling wine born in Piedmont in 1895 with a modern point of view. In the first half of the twentieth century, Acqui Terme was celebrated for its Liberty style (the Italian version of Art Nouveau), and its ideals of elegance, joy and ornamental detail, reflected in the beautiful, intricate design of the bottles. These bottles are an absolute show-stopper and a true reflection of the quality and elegance of the wines themselves.

Made from a unique blend of indigenous local grape varieties Barbera & Dolcetto  grown on calcareous clay soils in the Monferrato hills of Piemone. This sparkling wine has a beautiful pale pink colour and a fine bead. The bouquet delicately expresses notes of flowers and red berries. It is light-bodied, delicately structured, extremely refreshing and dry and at just 11% alcohol it is wonderful everyday drinking.

Food Pairing: Perfect with seafood, cold cut meat, salads, fresh cheese, grilled vegetables. Serve at 8-10°C
