Description

A truly global phenomenon, nothing beats the consistency and quality of classic Australian Shiraz. Whether you're looking for strong and powerful accompaniments to your next dining experience, or a playful, flavouresome evening pour, this collection has got you covered! You can't go wrong with an Australian Shiraz, and these wines are no exception.

This ultimate collection includes:

1 x Little Giant Barossa Shiraz 2017 (Australia)

AWARDED 93/100 POINTS & 5 STARS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2020

AWARDED SILVER MEDAL: New Zealand International Wine Show, 2020

"Delightfully fruited and immediately appealing, the bouquet shows black/blueberry, subtle spice, cocoa and toasted nut characters. It's wonderfully weighted and flavoursome on the palate, delivering fleshy mouthfeel and silky tannins, leading to a lengthy soothing finish. At its best: now to 2025" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2020

The Barossa Valley makes up the majority of the fruit source with typical plum, red licorice, chocolate and mocha characters whilst the addition of the spicier, elegant fruit of the cooler Eden Valley has added lift, interest and freshness. This is a contemporary Barossa Shiraz having spent maturation time in older oak adding subtle vanilla and earthy nuance. There’s softness on the finish while maintaining freshness and vibrancy.

Food Pairing: Pair with a classic roast beef and horseradish.

Alc: 14.5%

The palate is generous and mouth-filling driven long by fresh acidity and supple tannins. A serious wine suitable for all occasions – ready to drink now or cellar for a few years.

1 x Elephant In The Room Stupendous Langhorne Creek Shiraz 2019 (Australia)

AWARDED SILVER MEDAL: AWC Vienna International Wine Challenge 2020

Awarded 91/100 Points & 4.5 Stars: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

Awarded 4 Stars: John Lewis, The Newcastle Herald, Jun 2020

"It's fabulously ripe and fragrant, showing mulberry, dark cherry, vanilla, toasted spice and hazelnut characters on the nose. The palate offers excellent fruit power backed by silky texture and supple tannins, making it very approachable and drinkable" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

"Negociants, French for merchants, have a long history, beginning in France's Burgundy area where they created fine wines from growers with grape output too small to warrant their own bottlings. That continues today as they buy grapes, bulk juice or finished wine to sell under their own brands. This 14.2%-alcohol, garnet-hued Langhorne Creek red is one of today's three Australian versions of the négociant system. It has rhubarb aromas, lively plum front-palate flavour, middle-palate Morello cherry, mint and licorice and toasty oak and a dusty tannin finish" John Lewis, The Newcastle Herald, Jun 2020

Deep purple colour with aromatic notes of red berry and blackcurrants framed by violet and enticing cedarwood spice. The palate is dense and plush with flavours of blood plum, blueberry and spice with a supple, slippery mouthfeel framed by subtle oak toast and fine tannins. A generous wine, packed full of flavour that is ready to drink now or will cellar for up to 10 years.

Alc: 14.5%

1 x Speak No Evil Organic Shiraz 2020 (Australia)

The palate displays supple mouthfeel and bright fruit flavours combined with fine texture and polished tannins, making it smooth and delightfully drinkable. At its best: now to 2023" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, August 2020

Nicely lied and aromatically charged with red berry fruit aromas hints of vanilla fresh ground spices and ripe plums. Soft and seductive tannins help shape the wine yet the weight of fruit ensures it remains lithe and generous. The palate rewards with fruit vibrancy, nuanced spice and milk chocolate and a fine, integrated acidity drive a long enjoyable finish. The wine is looking great right now but will also age confidently with very careful cellaring for up to 5 years.
