Description

- Nectarine
- Vanilla
- Long rich finish
"Beautifully fruited and delightfully expressed, the inviting bouquet shows nectarine, fresh fig, vanilla and roasted hazelnut characters. The palate is equally satisfying with excellent weight and rounded mouthfeel, wonderfully enhanced by creamy texture and well-pitched acidity. Flavoursome, complex and fabulously drinkable. at its best: now to 2024" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jul 2020
"Tangy, flavoursome chardonnay with grapefruit, white peach, melon and apple flavours together with a modest influence of spicy oak and toasty yeast lees. A bright, high-energy wine with a pleasing texture" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Jul 2020
"A very youthful, vibrant and expressive bouquet with aromas and palate flavours of white fleshed tree and stone fruits, pear and american pink grapefruit then layers of oak, but not new wood - just a lighter toast and mild scents of baking spices and raw sugar. Texture on the palate is a feature accentuating the spice, acidity and wood. A flinty mineral note adding complexity and charm. Nice lengthy finish, well made and ready to enjoy from late 2020 through 2025" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Aug 2020
Juicy crisp texture oak spice. Spice citrus lemon curd subtle funk. Bright pale yellow straw.
“Handpicked, whole bunch fruit pressed to barrel, feral fermentation. Large oak to maintain vibrancy, line and texture. Marlborough Chardonnay, flint, funk and line; a coiled spring with richness and freaky talent” Winemaker, Ben Glover.
