Description

Cherry, Chocolate, Spice

"Sweetly fruited and inviting, the wine shows dark plum, cherry, olive, and baking spice aromas on the nose. It's succulent and supple in the mouth, offering a silky texture and well-integrated tannins, making it beautifully balanced and immediately appealing" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2025

"Moderately deep runy-red, even colour throughout. The nose is vibrant, packed with plum, mulberry, pine and subtle spice. Medium-bodied, aromas of plum, mulberry and black raspberry, melded with pine and clove. The palate is soft and juicy with supple tannins and fresh acidity. This Tempranillo is packed with succulent black fruit on a smooth mouthfeel and a pleasing finish" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Nov 2025

Medium ruby in colour with garnet hues. Lots of dark fruits like mulberry, plum and dried date, layered with earthy undertones and subtle characters of clove and oregano. The palate draws you in with mulberry, dark cherry and plum complemented with savoury complexity, dark chocolate and a hint of clove spice. A smooth and lingering finish with cocoa powder tannins.

Y Series wines are made to freely express their true self and celebrate the qualities that make them unique, just like you. Let Y Series ignite your sense of adventure and discover what it means to be boldly, unapologetically you. Made for lively, feisty, fancy or happy moments, there’s a Y for every why.

A cold winter with some rain in late spring and early autumn was appreciated by the vines which set average sized crops. The grapes ripened quickly as summer turned dry and balmy. Cool summer nights maintained the aromatics and natural acidity in the grapes, providing perfect balance and flavours.

Food Pairing: Enjoy with pepperoni pizza or a grilled mushroom and haloumi burger.
