Bright crimson in colour. Luscious and exotic aromas of raspberries, sour cherry and rose petals with hints of white pepper. The medium-bodied palate is framed by flavours of rosewater and chocolate with boysenberries and cherry. Soft tannins provide the perfect complement to the cherries and chocolate finish, showing the wonderful synergy between Shiraz and Viognier.

The cool, wet winter and spring lasted into early summer. While cooler conditions continued, respite from heavy rain gave the vines a wonderfully long, cool growing season. Plentiful soil moisture allowed for large canopies which helped the grapes attain lovely flavours.
