Description
Floral, Spice, Strawberry
"Sweetly fruited and nicely lifted, the bouquet shows ripe cherry, olive, mixed spice, and floral aromas, followed by a silky-smooth palate that's juicy and rounded. Well supported by fine tannins, finishing supple and tasty" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jan 2025
"A lovely expression with a vibrant mouthfeel and natural varietal flavours of plums and dark cherries, some earth-smoke of clay and stone and a whisper of spice. Fine tannins, medium+ acid line, balanced, well made and ready to drink. Super food friendly and excellent value" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Jan 2025
Bright ruby in colour with a purple hue. There is an abundance of red fruit aromas, including cherry, wild berry and strawberry with purple flowers, a hint of pink peppercorn and fennel-like spice. Drawn in by the rich fruitfulness, the palate is vibrant with fresh flavours of cherry, wild berry, beetroot and cranberry, leading to a silky tannin finish.
Individual wines made to freely express their true self and celebrate the qualities that make them unique. Let Y Series ignite your sense of adventure and discover what it means to be unapologetically you. Discover You. Explore Y Series.
Winter was cold and dry, rainfalls in late spring and early autumn were appreciated by the vines which set average crops. The grapes ripened quickly as summer continued to be dry with warm days and cool nights. This provided perfect growing conditions delivering excellent quality Pinot Noir.
