Bright, medium ruby in colour with a purple hue. Vibrant red florals with black pepper, mixed fresh herbs and a hint of coffee grounds. Delicious red cherries, strawberry and red plums with lovely smooth, round mouthfeel. Serve slightly chilled.

A very cool, wet winter and spring continued into early summer. The heavy rains abated and the grapes enjoyed a long, cool growing season, perfect for flavour development. Plentiful soil moisture allowed large canopies to flourish which enabled the grapes to attain delicious varietal flavours at naturally lower sugar levels.

Food Pairing: Guacamole with corn chips; Vietnamese-style salads with roast pork or chicken.
