Pale straw in colour with green hues. Aromas of fresh tropical fruits mingle with blossom notes and sweet spice. The palate is long and creamy, with an array of tropical flavours including paw paw and mango. The wine has a savoury edge with flinty notes from wild fermentation. Refreshing, lip-smacking acidity gives lovely length with a savoury, textural finish.

Winter was cold with good rains, cool conditions followed through spring and into early summer. This cooler weather extended the growing season, allowing the grapes to mature evenly and develop good flavours. Warm weather in February and March helped finish ripening the Chardonnay grapes which were harvested full of flavour and lovely natural acidity.
