Description

Apple, Dry, Floral

"It's intensely expressed on the nose, showing green apple, cranberry, citrus peel, and herbaceous aromas. The palate offers excellent vibrancy and lively mouthfeel, well supported by crisp acidity, making it instantly appealing. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Apr 2026

Scale_-_Dry

"Bright, fresh, ripe and fruity with flavours of pear and red apple, some citrus peel ideas and a fine lees complexity. A crisp dry wine wine with a backbone of acidity and flavours that reflect the bouquet. Balanced, fresh, fruity and crunchy with a light saline seam. Well made with best drinking from day of purchase through 2027" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier

Pale blush pink in appearance, the 2025 Wishbone Sauvignon Blanc Rosé is a dry, fresh, and fruit-driven expression of Marlborough Rosé. The nose is rich and expressive, showing ripe blackcurrant aromas layered with crushed herbs. On the palate, the wine is fresh and clean, revealing flavours of blackcurrant and ruby grapefruit. The balance is precise and focused, carried by lively acidity and finishing long and refreshing. The mouthfeel remains crisp and energetic, reinforcing its bright, modern style.

Rooted in the Wishbone tradition—where luck favours the one who gains the greater share—this wine reflects the same sense of magic created from vineyard to bottle. Crafted from Marlborough fruit with care and intention, it is a Rosé to be enjoyed now or cellared for up to 2–3 years, ideally shared in good company and lucky moments.

Fruit for this harvest was sourced from select lower Wairau Valley sites and machine-harvested in the cool evening to preserve purity and freshness. Partial fermentation in French oak barrels adds subtle texture and complexity while allowing the vibrant fruit character to shine.
