Description
Dry, Pear, Spice
"Charming and inviting, the bouquet shows Asian pear, apricot, red apple, and lemon peel aromas, followed by a juicy palate displaying elegant weight and fine flow. Well framed by fine acidity, making it immediately approachable and enjoyable. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jan 2025

In the glass, presents delicate pale straw hues, hinting at the lush flavours to come. On the nose, it’s bursting with ripe pear and subtle spice. The first sip is smooth, brimming with juicy ripe yellow pear, and a subtle baked pastry. Style-wise, it’s fresh, clean, and bright. Enjoy it now for its expressive fruit, or let it evolve over the next 2-3 years for added depth.
The fruit for our 2024 Pinot Gris comes from vineyards in Marlborough’s Wairau Valleys, where ideal conditions bring out the best in this varietal. The grapes were carefully harvested in the cool morning hours and gently pressed at the winery to retain their purity. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a balanced temperature to preserve the delicate fruit aromas. To enhance its creamy texture and complexity, the wine was aged on light lees before blending, stabilization, and meticulous bottling.
Food Pairing: Pair it with creamy pasta, roast chicken, or a cheese platter, and you’ve got the perfect match.
