An elegant & creamy Marlborough Chardonnay

Description

  • Oaked
  • Ripe stonefruit
  • Creamy nougat
  • Medium body

An elegant wine with a fragrant bouquet displaying white peach and nectarine with lifted citrus. The palate is soft, round and creamy with ripe stonefruit and a hint of creamy nougat and vanilla bean. Medium in body with great mouthfeel and depth of fruit.

The grapes were harvested at optimum ripeness, fermented in oak and underwent malolactic fermentation. This Wishbone Chardonnay is perfect for dinking now and with careful cellaring can be enjoyed over the next two to three years.

Food Pairing: A great match with yoghurt marinated apricot chicken skewers.
