Light red hues, with raspberry and cherry spice aromas. The palate is light to mid bodied in style, with slick, refined tannins true to the varietal. Fresh, crunch and refreshing!

2023 was slightly dryer than 2022 and the temperatures were moderate, with some sun to ripen and the coolness of winter that disabled bugs and pests. Overall quality was up but yields were down, but with the selection of the best fruit creating a fresh richness to the harvest.

Early picked at flavour ripeness, ensuring naturally lower alcohol and fresh balanced acidity. Fruit is crushed, juice fermented on skins and pressed prior to sugar dryness with wine completing fermentation in stainless steel. Minimal handling ensures less tannin extraction, creating a soft, rounded finish with a fruit forward palate.

The great outsider, Wine Gringo is a bold and contemporary brand not afraid to act differently. Fresh and vibrant red wines created using white winemaking techniques and limited skins contact. The elegant and finely structed wines are perfect to be served with a chill on a warm summer’s day.
