White peach, elderflower, nectarine, and lavender flower aromas. A soft entry before revealing a rich mid-palate of succulent passionfruit and quince flavours with a silky texture and slight waxiness note to finish minerality balance with a crisp, elegant long finish.

Stony soils with overlying sandy loam, deep river silt and free draining gravel of the Waimea Plains.

Grapes were gently pressed to retain only free-run and light-pressing juice fractions. Two ferments from the same single vineyard site were fermented cool with selected aromatic yeast strains to retain varietal intensity and character. Matured on light lees for a further 3 months and then racked prior to blending
