A delicious full-bodied Pinot Gris with appealing aromas of fragrant apricot, and subtle spice aromas. The palate is full bodied with rich flavours of pear and crisp red apple with citrus notes. A long lingering finish showing classical elegance and finely balanced acidity. Drinking well now, this wine will increase in complexity over at least the next three years.

This wine was produced with fruit from select Marlborough vineyards in the Southerna and Omaka Valleys, and harvested at optimum flavour ripeness. Post fermentation the wine was kept on light lees and stirred to enhance texture and complexity. The parcels of wine were selected by the winemakers and blended then stabilised and carefully prepared for bottling.

Food Pairing: Beautifully matched with chicken piccata.
