Located on the western bank of the Waihopai River, Bankhouse is a close-planted vineyard with a myriad of soil types and aspects which provide diverse expressions from which to craft a wine. A dynamic wine with riper tropical flavours from the clay soils and emphasised minerality and freshness from the riverbed gravel soils.

Low rainfall over winter and cooler weather at flowering resulted in reduced crop yield for the 2024 harvest. The growing season progressed with Marlborough's classic dry conditions, warm days and cool nights. The idyllic weather and low crops produced pristine grapes with concentrated flavours and fresh acidity.

Aromatic enhancing yeast strains, 100% stainless steel fermentation at cool temperatures to enhance tropical fruit notes.  Carefully monitored 4-5 months on yeast lees to build texture and palate weight.
