A classic expression of Sauvignon Blanc
Description
Dry, Herbal, Passionfruit
"Pungent bouquet, varietal and intense with scents of passion fruits and pink grapefruit, crisp red apple flash and a mix of basil and sage -like herb qualities. Equally intense on the palate, crisp, dry, salivating and packed with flavour. The acidity also carries a saline effect on the palate accentuating the flavours of orchard fruits and citrus. Best drinking from late 2024 through 2027+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Sep 2024
A classic expression of Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough's Wairau Valley. Bursting with tropical fruit characters found in this warmer subregion, this wine displays punchy aromas of passionfruit and blackcurrant. The palate has an enticing and complex array of rich citrus mixed with ripe herbs finishing with fresh and juicy acidity.
A selection of premium vineyards thoughout the Wairau Valley, each contributing their own unique attributes to create this complex and flavourful wine.
Low rainfall over winter and cooler weather at flowering resulted in reduced crop yield for the 2024 harvest. The growing season progressed with Marlborough's classic dry conditions, warm days and cool nights. The idyllic weather and low crops produced pristine with concentrated flavours and fresh acidity.
