Description

Floral, Lemon, Medium-dry

"This is brilliantly fine and poised, showing lemon sorbet, lime peel, crunchy apple and white floral notes on the nose. The palate exhibits impressive concentration, together with refined texture and racy acidity, making it superbly structured and persistent. Beautifully flowing with elegant sweetness, finishing lingering and delightfully satisfying. At its best: 2026 to 2036" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2024

"Fantastic bouquet filled with scents of sweet makrut lime and mandarin, honeysuckle and red apple flesh. Aromas also of rose and white mineralised stone. Equally delicious on the palate presented in an off-dry style with acidity and sweetness in perfect balance. Flavours are persistent adding to a lengthy finish. A wine ready to enjoy from day of purchase through 2033+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Oct 2024

"Bright, even, pale yellow. This has a lifted bouquet with aromas of citrus, green apple and blossom. Medium-light bodied, off-dry to taste, aromas of lime and lemon tea melded with Granny Smith, jasmine and lime blossom. The fruit shows purity with taut acidity and verve, a tight phenolic touch contributes to a drier style that goes well with food" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Oct 2024

Bright in colour, this riesling boasts aromas of fresh Kaffir lime that are beautifully balanced with hints of lemon, Jasmine, white pepper and orange blossom. The palate is pure and focused, with a refined grainy texture, honeysuckle, and juicy citrus, concentrated with a lovely balance of sweetness and a delicate sherbet acidity.

This year’s harvest stands out as one of the best in the past decade - allowing for perfect picking conditions. The Indian summer, followed by a cooler autumn, allowed for an even, slower ripening period, producing highly concentrated fruit with distinctive flavours. As a result, the wines are pure and powerful, with lifted aromatics, lively acidity and great energy. The fruit was harvested from the Southern Valleys early in the morning to retain freshness and purity.

Fermented cold in stainless steel to retain aromatics and purity. The fermentation was stopped when the sweetness and acidity were in perfect balance. The wine then rested on fine lees for five months to gain texture and complexity.
