The 2019 Turkey Flat Shiraz is tightly coiled. A wine of great finesse, the power and longevity of this wine will only be revealed with time, be that open for a day on your kitchen bench or a decade in your cellar. With time boysenberry, blackberry, violet, earth, clove toast and cedarwood will all be revealed to expose a wine of tension, restraint and underlying power

The 2019 growing season was long, hot and dry leading to a slightly early, low yielding vintage. The wines from the 2019 vintage are fruit rich, well coloured and of substance. The vintage will be remembered for producing wines that reflect the generosity for which has made the Barossa famous.

This Shiraz is a result of a very intricate blending process. After each parcel of fruit is individually vinified & aged in specially selected French oak barrels, the final blend is created with careful consideration to upholding its reputation for cellaring gracefully, retaining its freshness and balance for many years.
