Offering a light yet lasting flavour profile

Description

Cherry, Spice, Strawberry

"Attractively fruited and elegantly fragrant, showing ripe cherry, strawberry, subtle spice and floral aromas. The palate delivers gentle weight and fine flow, well framed by supple texture and fine tannins. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jul 2024

This Pinot brims with cherry, strawberry, and a touch of spice, offering a light yet lasting flavour profile. The gentle, integrated tannins add a subtle structure, while the crisp acidity leads to a fresh, clean finish.

Tread Softly is a contemporary range of wines that are naturally medium in weight and lower in alcohol. Tread Softly is dedicated to reducing its carbon footprint and chooses sustainable vineyard management and winemaking techniques to ensure its production has a minimal impact on the environment. For every case of Tread Softly sold, the brand proudly commits to planting an Australian native tree – to date, that is over 1.5 million trees.

Sourced from established vineyards of the rich soils of South Australia. The vines are mostly dry-grown and utilise expert canopy management to help to control ripening and vigour.

A cooler than average growing season, frost, the lack of rain and poor weather during flowering, including strong winds throughout November and December resulted in lower yields however, the dry and consistent weather during picking resulted in a vintage of high-quality fruit.

Harvested in the cool of the morning to avoid the warmer temperatures of the day. The fruit is quickly delivered to the winery for destemming and crushing prior to a regular fermentation in stainless steel tank. The wine is aerated and temp controlled for an even ferment and then spends 3 months settling in tank prior to bottling and an early release.

Food Pairing: It's an excellent choice for brunch, especially with mushroom and parmesan arancini.
