Laced with chocolate & vanilla oak flavours
Description
Blackberry, Chocolate, Spice
"Deep ruby-red with a purple hue, even colour throughout. The nose is full, with aromas of blackberry, black plum, cocoa nips and spice. Full-bodied, aromas of blackberry and plum melded with cocoa nips and nutmeg. The fruit is ripe and succulent, enriched by smooth, rich tannins and linger to a moderately long finish. This Malbec is generous and well-made" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Feb 2025
"Brightly fruited and fragrant, the wine shows dark plum, rich floral, hazelnut, and mixed spice aromas on the nose, followed by a juicy palate offering youthful fruit intensity with savoury complexity. Upfront and friendly, offering charming drinking" Sam Kim, Wine Orbitm Jan 2025
Bright red color with intense violet hues. Fresh nose of violets and rich plum marmalade laced with chocolate and vanilla oak flavors. A soft, sweet entry leads to a well-structured and long, persistent wine. Round, silky tannins. TILIA wines possess true varietal character and flavor complexity. The first Argentine wine to carry the Bodegas de Argentina Certified Sustainable Seal, TILIA Winery is a Catena family winery.
TILIA seeks to create action around sustainable farming in Argentina and around the world. Rural life in Mendoza is rooted in a deep connection with the surrounding natural environment and the stages of life in the vineyard, interrupted without fail by the family weekend gathering for asado, our name for barbecue. TILIA illustrates the journey toward sustainable viticulture in Argentina through its label, with the hope to inspire a movement among wine drinkers and producers all over the world.
Food Pairing: Pair this Malbec with a meat dish that mirrors its tangy berry flavors like cranberry pot roast or roast duck with sour cherry sauce.
